
Job description
The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a PNT Engineer to join the Surveillance and Navigation Architecture Performance Department (SNAPD) in the Integrated Performance Subdivision. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out analysis driving recommendations for research, development, and acquisition decisions for legacy and emerging navigation and positioning systems.
The PNT Engineer will carry out analysis driving recommendations for research, development, and acquisition decisions for legacy and emerging navigation and positioning systems, serve as a key point of contact for specialized technical expertise in geolocation, PNT architecture analysis or PNT resilience, and lead cross-department teams in conducting specialized technical analysis and development tasks.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline, and will have experience with one or more of the following subjects: space-related modeling and simulation, geolocation, mission data processing, signal processing, space threats, resilient systems, advanced PNT technologies, algorithm design, software development, or mathematical modeling.
