Texas A&M University is hiring an Enterprise IT Architect for Artificial Intelligence to provide technical expertise and consultation to faculty and researchers on how to leverage the Nvidia SuperPod to accomplish their research goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 10 years of related experience in information technology
- Masters and Doctorate degree in the STEM field
- 15 years of related experience in information technology
- At least 2 years of experience in AI systems
- Experience developing, writing, being awarded, implementing, and administering NSF and NIH grants
- Experience with managing teams that operate High Performance Computing and Storage systems and services
- Experience with core IT security activities such as risk management, security architecture, communication and network security, identity and access management, and software development security
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong public speaking, organizational, leadership, and supervisory skills
- Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment
- Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with people
- Demonstrated ability using change and configuration management strategies
- Demonstrated ability to build consensus amongst stakeholders
- Ability to perform analysis of complex systems, including financial projections and cost modeling for computational systems
- Knowledge of programming methods and techniques for parallel, GPU, and FPGA computation
