Operations Analyst

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a genuine interest in energy and technology, as well as a passion for delivering products for a growing company. The Operations Analyst will play an important role in achieving the company’s strategic and operational goals, monitoring and managing all operational activities, including day-to-day transaction processing, generating and/or reviewing operational reports, resolving operational issues, and handling internal and external communications.

Requirements

• High School diploma required
• Minimum 3 years’ exposure to operational, administrative, or analyst‐type work in a professional environment
• Knowledge of ERCOT, PJM, MISO, NYISO, NEISO and CAISO markets
• Knowledge of PUC and/or Utility standards
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook, Powerpoint. Strong Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong business writing skills and experience developing communication in various formats
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Learner mindset and eye for continuous improvement needs
• Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to maintain a strict level of attention to detail
• Ability to work well within a team environment and demonstrate a vested interest in team goals and objectives
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships
• Self-motivated with the desire to consistently improve performance and gain further knowledge
• Ability to meet deadlines, learn quickly, and demonstrate effective problem-solving and follow-up skills
