Facilities Operations Custodian

The Facilities Operations Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment at various Serving Seniors locations, adhering to established procedures and client standards. This position requires a team player with strong record-keeping ability and ability to work cooperatively with all staff.

Requirements

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to protect the safety and health of others
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel
• Follows established cleaning schedule and procedures
• Responsible for preparing housing units at one of the sites
• Responds to accidental spills and other events that require immediate custodial response
• Monitors security system and camera system as assigned
• Ensures safety and security of all building occupants to include staff, seniors, and guests
• Enforces access list as directed by Facilities Manager and Shelter Operations Manager
