Apprentice Care and Support Assistant role supporting people with disabilities, working towards a free, fully funded Health and Social Care qualification, with a welcoming team and opportunities to progress.
Requirements
- Provide tailored support to customers with learning and physical disabilities, helping them build independence and reach their potential in daily life
- Work one-to-one as a Key Worker, helping individuals create and follow personalised care and support plans that reflect their goals and needs
- Assist with daily personal care – like washing, bathing, dressing, and toileting – always ensuring each person’s comfort, dignity and preferences are respected
- Assist with medication management, ensuring customers take the right medicine at the right times (with full training provided and safety protocols followed)
- Support customers to get out and about – whether it’s going shopping, visiting friends, or attending appointments – you’ll be the helping hand that makes these outings possible
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable living environment - you’ll follow health and safety guidelines, assist with risk assessments, and make sure the service is safe and welcoming for all
