Job Description
Samuel is seeking a Machinist, CNC to set up and operate CNC machines, perform machining operations, ensure quality and compliance, and support production. The role involves working with precision 3-axis and 5-axis machines, operating advanced inspection tools, and collaborating with various teams to improve efficiency. This position is full-time and on-site.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining
- Strong experience with CNC lathe operation (including subspindle and multi-tool head setups)
- Proven ability to work with tight tolerances and complex geometries
- Proficient in blueprint reading, G-code interpretation, and GD&T
- Experience with probing cycles and in-process inspection methods
- Basic maintenance skills for CNC lathes and milling machines
- Experience with advanced inspection tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparators) a strong asset
- Industry & Material Knowledge (aerospace machining experience is preferred)
- College diploma or engineering degree in a related field is an asset
