Education Manager

The Education Manager is responsible for the academic, social-emotional growth and development of all children in the After-School, Summer Camp, and Enrichment Programs. The position requires a philosophy of education and child development consistent with The Salvation Army Boston Kroc, as well as experience in education leadership and budget development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to education, Master's degree preferred
• Two to four years of progressive leadership experience in education
• Experience in developing, planning, managing and supervising education programs
• Experience developing and administering budgets for education programs
• Ability to supervise a professional staff
• Excellent computer skills and competency with software such as Microsoft Office Applications
• High level of confidentiality, discretion and judgment
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs
• Willingness to work evening and some weekends
