Market Development Manager

The Market Development Manager will develop and execute tactical value creation and demonstration field activities in support of the sales organization, health economics, and healthcare providers. The role will work to demonstrate the value of our clients' technologies and obtain reimbursement from insurance companies and public institutions.

Requirements

• Develop and execute tactical value creation and demonstration field activities
• Work closely with key insurance personnel/counsellors within target hospitals
• Disseminate market access materials, economic material, and market industry insights
• Influence and educate potential hospital customers to obtain reimbursement
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs for clinical / medical education of payers
• Support surgical specialists and distributor personnel to remove barriers for usage of our clients' products
• Reassess current reimbursement pathways for private and public hospitals
• Provide tactical, economic, and analytical insights to support sales approach
• Develop relationships with medical device societies and patient advocacy groups
• Support Market Access driven reimbursement strategies
• Work with Health Economics & Market Access Director on program-benchmarking and procedure analysis
• Support and navigate the purchaser/provider environment of private and public hospitals
• Development and update of our clients' business case
• Provide support and strategic insight to ensure all non-implanting hospitals have successful rate listing
• Map key decision makers within each private chain and educate them on the benefits of including our technology
• Support Market Access in the creation of value tools
• Provide tactical, economic, and analytical insights to support sales approach that fosters and grows key financial relationships
• Use analytical and field economics insights to support center access
• Translate customer data into meaningful recommendations and actions
• Help identify and leverage best data sources
• Support the development and delivery of patient communication tools
• Collaborate with sales on specific hospital assessments
• Generate ideas on how our products can serve as a solution to issues
• Educate internal and external customers on value proposition of product range
• Ensure proactive regular in-field training visits/communication
• Develop and train on private reimbursement process communication material
• Provide support to the commercial team in working with key public sectors
• Provide support for reimbursement webinars/meetings
