Railroad Safety Flagger UP North

RailPros is hiring a Railroad Safety Flagger for a full-time position. The role involves providing on-site roadway worker protection for activities on and around live railroad tracks, coordinating job sites, and ensuring On Track Safety in controlled and non-controlled track areas. Travel across multiple states is required, and a high school diploma or equivalent is needed, with at least 2 years of track and/or construction experience. The role is in-person, and extensive travel is necessary, including overnight stays. Requirements

• Provide jobsite protection on each assignment, error free and consistent with the rules
• Perform daily job briefings with all personnel on the job site and ensure all personnel adhere to the safety requirements of the railroad
• Prepare and submit required electronic forms
• Handle and place signs, derail and other tools and equipment weighing 15 to 90 pounds
• Actively participate in routine reoccurring safety classes and qualification training
• Maintain a high level of communication with the RWIC supervisors and managers regarding the various assignments and schedules
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture
• Uphold the organization’s standards of integrity, accountability, and respect in all duties and interactions
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulation
