QA/QC Specialist

Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Specialist at Puratos Canada Inc. reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor. Responsible for providing technical support for Quality Assurance activities, technical assistance on the production floor, and management of document control activities.

Requirements

• Diploma in Food Science/Biotechnology or equivalent
• 2-5 years of experience
• Sound knowledge of Regulatory Requirements, Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Experience with HACCP or ISO 9001:2008 and FSSC22000 an asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, graphing and database programs
• Leadership ability and interpersonal skills
