The role is responsible for financial planning, reporting, compliance, and strategic decision-making, and is critical in ensuring financial stability, growth, and alignment with corporate objectives.
Requirements
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals
- Create annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with business leaders, department heads, and regional teams
- Provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support decision-making
- Assess financial risks and implement effective controls
- Monitor internal audit processes and address any findings
- Optimize cash flow, manage working capital, and oversee banking relationships
- Mitigate foreign exchange risks
- Work closely with tax advisors to develop tax-efficient strategies
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
- Lead and mentor the finance team
- Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and foster professional growth
