Journeyworker

This position is responsible for performing duties required in the operation, maintenance, construction and repair of transmission and distribution systems. Essential duties include constructing and maintaining overhead and underground electric lines and equipment, inspecting primary and secondary power lines and substation equipment, and performing rubber glove work on energized lines from aerial devices.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of DOL program requirements for Journeyworker
• Valid Texas Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Motor Vehicle Report that comply with PEC policy
