Business Intelligence Analyst

The Business Intelligence Analyst supports Nelnet Financial Services by collecting, analyzing, and presenting data that drives business operations and decision-making.

Requirements

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using advanced reporting tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with members of Nelnet Financial Services, Nelnet Bank, and other departments to gather requirements, understand business needs, and deliver effective reporting solutions.
• Implement automation solutions to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by reconciling to alternate data sources when possible and assisting in efforts to clean up data when needed.
• Utilize SQL, Python, Power BI, Excel, and other tools to extract, manipulate, and visualize data.
• Stay current with emerging tools and technologies, especially in AI, automation, and data visualization, to continuously improve reporting processes and analytical capabilities.
• Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Utilize historical data, both internally generated and from industry peers, to derive future performance assumptions.
