
Job description
As a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in the Disability Support Services (DSS) Review Programme Taskforce supporting the redesign of how disability support services are delivered across Aotearoa New Zealand. You'll lead analysis within a complex, high-profile programme with significant business, service design, and technology implications, directly informing future service models and Ministerial decision-making.
Key responsibilities include: Lead analysis workstreams aligned to DSS programme priorities, Provide quality insights and documentation to support senior and Ministerial decision-making, Identify and document current and future state processes, requirements, and service models, Develop practical solutions that support system transformation, Undertake impact assessments across business, service delivery, and technology domains, Support testing, readiness, and implementation activities, Represent the Ministry in cross-agency forums and contribute to system-wide thinking, Mentor other Business Analysts and support consistency across the programme.
