The Performance Marketing Manager is a high-impact, hybrid role that blends strategic leadership with strong analytical partnership. The role helps lead the strategic direction and performance outcomes of Metro’s digital paid media ecosystem while serving as a key marketing analytics and insights leader across the organization.
Requirements
- Help lead the strategic direction and performance oversight of paid media campaigns across search, paid social, display, video, CTV, and emerging channels.
- Forecast media spend and performance to support effective budget allocation, pacing, and growth planning.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for paid media agency partners, ensuring alignment on strategy, performance expectations, outputs, and accountability.
- Aggregate and analyze marketing performance data and outputs across platforms.
- Translate data into insights using statistical analysis and data visualization to inform decision-making and clearly communicate results to stakeholders.
- Design and oversee A/B tests, incrementality tests, geo-lift studies, and other test-and-learn initiatives to guide marketing investment decisions.
- Partner closely with Strategic Intelligence, Product, Finance, Sales, and Marketing teams to align performance marketing strategies with broader business goals.
- Provide data-driven feedback to creative teams and agencies to improve messaging, creative effectiveness, and channel performance.
- Maintain data integrity by overseeing UTM standards, event definitions, and analytics best practices across platforms.
- Identify opportunities to maximize product adoption, cross-selling, market penetration, and new member acquisition through performance marketing insights.
- Leverage external data sources (census, competitive, and market data) to identify growth opportunities, refine targeting strategies, and deepen understanding of member behavior.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging channels (including AEO), and best practices in performance marketing and measurement.
