Senior Associate

Markel is searching for a Senior Associate to join their Markel Employment Law team. The role involves providing expert legal services to clients, advising on employment law issues, and supporting the development of the client base. The successful candidate will have experience in undertaking both contentious and non-contentious work, excellent customer care skills, and the ability to gain and retain client confidence.

Requirements

• Experience in undertaking both contentious and non-contentious work
• Excellent customer care skills
• Ability to gain and retain client confidence
• Good document drafting skills and an eye for detail
• Sound working knowledge of all appropriate electronic research facilities
• Experience of prioritising and multi-tasking
• Experience of liaising appropriately with external contacts and internal contacts at all levels of the organisation
• Maintain CPD and Practising Certificate as a solicitor/barrister in the UK
