The Technical Proteomics Facility Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the National NeuroProteomics Facility (NNPF) and drive business development initiatives to grow the facility's reputation and client base.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent proteomics experience
- Experience in managing research facilities or complex laboratory operations
- Strong knowledge of proteomics technologies and neurosciences sector trends
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies and process improvements
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and cost analysis
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Strong understanding of WHS compliance and risk management in laboratory environments
- Ability to manage procurement, installation, and maintenance of scientific equipment
- Ability to work occasional out-of-hours for troubleshooting or events
