We are seeking a Junior/Resident Medical Officer to join our Doctors in Training Program at Macquarie University Health. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a diverse spectrum of Medical and Surgical specialities, participate in research projects, and contribute to educational activities.
Requirements
- Provisional or General Registration with AHPRA or ability to obtain limited registration
- Demonstrated understanding of the patient's perspective and ability to communicate key information to the patient and carers
- Demonstrated interest and aptitude for one or more of the following activities: supervision of students; or delivery of educational activities; or research.
- A strong commitment to multidisciplinary approaches to clinical care and ability to work as part of a team
- Demonstrated experience as a PGY1 doctor in basic procedural techniques such as intravenous cannulation and venesection (PGY2+)
- Completion of ALS2 desirable for PGY2+
