Reliability Engineer responsible for ensuring product reliability throughout the entire lifecycle of home energy products. Collaborate with engineers during design phases and track field reliability performance for continuous product improvement.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics or Equivalent.
- Proven track record of solving complex power electronics reliability failures
- Working knowledge in theory of operation of common power converter topologies (inverter, buck boost converter...etc)
- Deep understanding of physics of failure and common failure mechanisms for PCBAs and power electronics components (MOSFETs, capacitors, inductors...etc)
- Working knowledge of failure analysis techniques such as optical microscopy, SEM, CSAM, X-ray, cross-sectioning and EDX
- Experience with accelerated life testing models and the governing equations, specifically for PCBAs, battery storage, and relevant mechanical structures.
- Understanding of reliability statistics
