Massage Therapist-Full Time - The Langham, Chicago

Deliver excellence in quality Spa services to guests, visitors, and members in a timely, courteous and efficient manner, escorting clients to and from treatment rooms and attending to their needs. Maintain knowledge of Spa Services, Products and Fitness Programs, and comply with hotel and departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Maintain complete knowledge of Spa Services, Products and Fitness Programs.
• Maintain complete knowledge of Forbes, Chuan Spa, and The Langham standards and comply with hotel and departmental policies and procedures.
• Set up workstation and treatment room by following sanitation protocols and stocking with necessary supplies.
• Accommodate all guest requests expediently and courteously.
• Handle guest complaints by following the instant guest pacification procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Assists to maintain cleanliness of prep room/Spa/locker rooms/treatment rooms following sanitation protocols.
• Escort guests to and from treatments.
• Maintain cleanliness of Spa and treatment areas.
• Ability to give a timely Spa service, providing a relaxing and beneficial experience to each Guest.
• Ability to focus attention on Guest needs and remain calm and courteous.
• Ability to recommend and sell Spa products and services for in-house or for at home care.
• Knowledge of all Massage and Body Treatments offered.
• Ability to read, write and speak basic English sufficient to understand and communicate with employees and guests,
