Requirements

• Administers prescribed course of radiation therapy.
• Calculates procedure details such as length and intensity of exposure to radiation, size and strength of dosage, setting of recording equipment, etc.
• Evaluates and assesses the daily physiological and psychological responsiveness of the patients and ensures quality care for patients undergoing radiation therapy.
• Participates in patients and community education regarding radiation therapy.
• Assists in the billing and coding process for radiation therapy.
