Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist IV

Ionis Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist IV to support the Accounts Payable department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices. The role includes invoice processing, troubleshooting, exception handling, and reconciling vendor statements.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role
• Strong understanding of AP processes and invoice processing
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP and Coupa preferred)
• Proficiency in Concur System
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Excel)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams and vendors
• Critical thinking and process improvement mindset
• Excellent customer service skills
