Installation Project Engineer - Portage

Integrated Mill Systems (IMS) is a process automation solutions provider seeking a Full-time Installation Project Engineer for our Portage, IN office. The role executes all project assignments, individually or as part of a project team within the Installation Group, with a focus on power system design, network design, and control/device design for the installation of IMS equipment. Primary duties include installation design of Power and Drive system applications, block diagram creation, and on-site field investigations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Engineering or equivalent industrial experience
• Travel requirements are up to 25% of the time
• Experience working with AC and DC Drive systems
• Experience in working with NEC codes for design of power and drive systems
• Metals processing knowledge is preferred
• Knowledge of ETAP software for power studies and harmonic analysis
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• A team player and a dedication and concern toward completing work in a timely manner
• Understanding of the industry and keeping whole company IMS perspective with customers and projects
