Director, Specialty Lines - (Non-standard risks)

We're looking for a Director, Specialty Solutions, to join our Non-Standard risks team! This is a leadership role that requires experience in team management, knowledge of Specialty Solutions lines, and strategic thinking. The successful candidate will drive profitability and growth, lead a team of managers, and be accountable for key operational initiatives.

Requirements

• University degree or any combination of equivalent education and experience
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in P&C industry
• Experience in team management
• Sound knowledge of Specialty Solutions lines
• Effective communication skills to develop and foster business relationships, both internally and externally
• Strategic thinking with the ability to focus on attention to detail
• Leadership ability to influence and motivate people and drive change
• Proven track record setting clear objectives and monitoring the progress of multiple projects against deadlines
• Address complex problems and take calculated risks to make decisions in time sensitive situations
• Can monitor competitive practices, business trends, and other developments impacting business results and recommend changes in regional practices
• Proven ability to develop, mentor, and train staff
• Strong follow-up and execution on work and projects
• Bilingualism is required for candidates located in Quebec
