CompTIA Linux+ Adjunct Instructor

California Institute of Applied Technology (CIAT) is seeking a CompTIA Linux+ Adjunct Instructor to teach synchronous online courses. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or higher, certification in CompTIA Linux+, and at least three years of experience in the field or two years of teaching experience.

Requirements

• Information Technology Instructors must provide official transcripts of bachelor's degree or higher
• Certification on the subject being taught (CompTIA Linux+)
• At least three years' experience in the respective field OR two years of teaching experience
• Synchronous online teaching experience preferred
• Advanced subject matter expertise preferred with a commitment to ongoing professional development
• Effective presentation skills, communication and technology skills
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to multitask and problem solve rapidly and effectively
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administration
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
