Welder (m/f/d)

Welder (m/f/d) position available at IMI Bopp & Reuther in Mannheim, working on nuclear valve construction, welding according to ASME and EN standards, with a focus on quality, safety, and documentation. Excellent experience in welding WIG and E-Hand procedures is required, with certifications according to ASME and EN ISO 9606 and 14732 desirable. Must be x-ray-safe and have experience in the nuclear sector or comparable regulated industries.

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship as a craftsman in the metal sector (construction mechanic, plant builder)
• Several years of experience in welding WIG (141) and E-Hand (111)
• Valid welding certifications according to ASME and/or EN ISO 9606 for the welding procedures WIG (141) and E-Hand (111) are desirable
• Welding certification according to ASME and/or EN ISO 14732 for UP (121) are desirable
• X-ray-safe welding
• Experience in the nuclear sector (nuclear-specific requirements) or in comparable regulated industries is an advantage
• Very high quality and safety awareness
• Teamwork ability, sense of responsibility and reliability
