Heavy Duty Equipment Technician

We are seeking a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to safely repair, troubleshoot, and maintain mobile heavy-duty equipment throughout the mine and milling operation. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the planning and team to deliver execution of the integrated plan and schedule.

Requirements

• College diploma in heavy equipment technician or another related field.
• Certificate of Qualification in Ontario is preferred.
• Completed apprenticeship is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Previous experience in open pit mining is considered an asset.
• Proficiency in computer applications and maintenance softwares.
• A valid Ontario driver’s license is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Knowledge of Service Information System (SIS), Electronic Technician (ET), Hydraulic Information System (HIS) for CAT equipment is an asset.
• Experience with MineStar is an asset.
