Survey Crew Chief

H2M architects + engineers is seeking a Project Land Surveyor to select and apply standard surveying techniques in the field and office to plan, organize, and execute land surveying projects.

Requirements

• Receive instructions on specific assignments, objectives and complex features
• Perform a variety of in-office and field tasks associated with land surveying projects
• Broad understanding and experience for operating surveying equipment, such as Total Stations, Data Collectors, GPS RTK & Static Observations
• Accurately calculates and records field data
• Review and download field data
• Prepare field notes and draw sketches of existing site conditions
• Prepare detailed daily job reports and discuss projects with supervisor on daily basis
• Maintain and troubleshoot complex instrumentation
• Drafting and editing of surveys using AutoCAD Civil 3D
