The Human Resources Business Partner is a critical role on Green Thumb’s People Team, supporting the Production facility in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. The HRBP will align business objectives, HR strategy, and talent to scale rapid growth, executing HR programs, policies, and practices for the designated employee population.
Requirements
- Talent and Performance Management: Identify talent needs, risks, and gaps, and strategize with business leaders to maximize team performance.
- Culture Champion: Assist in scaling and enhancing the company culture, employee engagement, and becoming a best place to work in the cannabis industry.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a confidential resource to employees and managers, supporting and escalating employee relations issues.
- Change Management: Advise and lead in change management initiatives, clearly understanding strategic moves and presenting recommendations to mitigate risks and ensure success.
- Implement & Execution Programs and Processes: Create, plan, roll-out, and maintain programs and processes for a consistent and scalable approach.
- Relationship Management: Create and maintain strong and trusting relationships across the organization, partnering with site management and leadership to ensure the team can grow, scale, and exceed business objectives.
- Employment Law and Leave Policies/Administration: Understand federal and state employment law, leave policies, and administration for employees, partnering with the Total Rewards team.
- Project Management Support: Partner with other Centers of Excellence to support projects, process improvements, and talent acquisition, total rewards, talent & org development, and employee relations.
- Manage Administrative Routines: Ensure timely and efficient completion of routines, including new hire orientation, employee roundtables, processing pay and position changes, employee data maintenance, safety record keeping, and state badging requirements.
- Safety & Compliance: Be aware of hazards, retain and understand department-specific training, report safety incidents/concerns, comply with follow-up actions, and maintain accurate record keeping.
