
Job description
WIFR is looking for a full-time Broadcast IT Engineer for our television station in Rockford, Illinois. This position combines IT Engineering as well as Broadcast Engineering. The engineer is responsible for areas of end-user support, including building and maintaining Windows desktops and laptops, managing servers, printers, backups, end-user applications, basic IP networking skills, cabling, and all other related systems and equipment. The engineer will also train in areas of broadcast transmission equipment, be responsible for audio-visual equipment repair, and basic building maintenance, where needed.
