Procurement Supervisor

The Procurement Supervisor will be responsible for supporting and directly managing procurement practices for all business departments at GLOVIS America, Inc. This position involves supplier management, project-related cost-saving initiatives, and RFx management, among other duties.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient PC skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, database management systems
• Working knowledge of industry and market conditions, and carrier operations businesses
• Working knowledge of contract management practices, tracking and managing data, contracts, and timelines
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and to adjust to meet business needs
• Individual must be a self-starter with ability to work with limited direction
• Strong negotiations, procurement, and conflict resolution skills
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and drive actions with cross-functional groups
