Lead, Occupational Health

Elk Valley Resources (EVR) operates four steelmaking coal mines in the Elk Valley of British Columbia. The company is committed to responsible resource development, environmental performance, and building strong partnerships with communities and Indigenous Peoples. The Lead, Occupational Health will support the ongoing improvement and consistent delivery of EVR's Occupational Health Program.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives or eligible for registration through inter-jurisdictional mobility
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Occupational Health or Public Health Nursing
• Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN(C) designation or Nurse Practitioner designations are an asset
• Knowledge in health assessments, health promotion, industrial hygiene, and health data management
• Familiar with the key aspects of safety leadership and the importance of influencing skills
• Strong digital literacy, including Cority and Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent
