RN-Registered Nurse-Advanced Acute Care Surgery

Geisinger is seeking a full-time Inpatient RN for their Advanced Acute Care Surgery unit at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. The role involves assessing, planning, organizing, performing, and evaluating nursing activities to meet the needs of patients. Relocation assistance is offered for eligible candidates. The nurse will be responsible for ensuring the best patient and family experience by optimizing all interactions and will be working under a Temporary Practice Permit until they take NCLEX.

Requirements

• Assesses, plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates nursing activities to meet the needs of patients
• Promotes adaptive responses of patients and families to achieve the highest level of patient care, promote safety, and maximize patient satisfaction
• Coordinates patient care and interaction of staff
• Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in their assigned nursing unit
