Job Description
FourKites is a company transforming global supply chains with an AI-driven platform for logistics. They are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to work on backend and frontend features using RoR, Java, GoLang, Angular, React, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Azure, AWS, or other cloud services. The role involves designing, implementing, testing, and optimizing software, collaborating with product and customer teams, and contributing to the knowledge sharing ecosystem.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of software engineering and Web application development experience
- Strong understanding of software design, Microservices architecture, and object-oriented principles
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Excellent knowledge of Java and Spring Framework
- Strong understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Strong knowledge of Git and Agile development tools
