Digital Tools Support Specialist

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Digital Tools Support Specialist. The role provides leadership and development of proposal, bidding, and sales enablement infrastructure by managing proposal systems, cost tools, dashboards, training programs, and supporting technologies. The position partners closely with Marketing, IT, Operations, Contracts, and Sales teams to improve efficiency, standardization, and reuse of proposal content, while independently leading continuous improvement, rollout execution, documentation, and user adoption across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with 5 years experience with Computer / IT / Software designing and building take-off / configurator/ Microsoft Office pricing applications OR in lieu of degree 7 years’ experience with Computer / IT / Software designing and building take-off / configurator/ Microsoft Office pricing applications
• Five (5) years experience of hands on field service and/or proposal generation experience specific to services within the electrical industry
• Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office suite
• Proficient in Salesforce, Bid Manager, and PowerBI
• Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Excel, including creating macros
• Strong product expertise or the ability to collect required product data as needed
• Project management experience to ensure timely completion of related projects; excellent organizational abilities
• Background in software testing or software development
• Exceptional communication skills for direct interaction with product line managers, plant engineers, and other specialists; excellent interpersonal strengths
• Capable of defining enhancement requirements for Bid Manager and effectively communicating these to Business Analysts and Programmers within Eaton Electrical IT
• Demonstrated creativity and innovation leadership, consistently generating new and original ideas
• Experience working with commercial product configuration software
• Familiarity with Bid Manager, PowerBI, Vista, and Salesforce
• Proactive approach, strong attention to detail, task-oriented mindset, and persistence in overcoming challenges to meet deadlines
• Well-developed logical thinking and outstanding computer skills
