Licensed Practical Nurse (PRN)

The Licensed Practical Nurse (PRN) will administer and document medications, assessments, and therapies as ordered by the physician. They will also evaluate self-medication potential and make recommendations to the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Administer and document medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by the physician
• Assess, document, and follow-up all aspects of the individual's healthcare
• Communicate clinical assessment information effectively to both professional and non-professional individuals
• Collaborate with physicians, other health disciplines, and members of the interdisciplinary team
• Provide support and training to direct care staff in the management of healthcare
• Maintain confidentiality of individual's medical records and personal information
• Demonstrate an ability to be flexible and deviate from the routine, according to the needs of the program
