This role will lead warehouse, packaging, shipping, and inventory functions, supervising direct and indirect labor. Develop strategies to increase productivity, reduce costs, and optimize customer service.
Requirements
- 4 year degree from an accredited college or university, B.S., B. A.
- 5+ years’ experience in supply chain and/or manufacturing operations leadership.
- Successful and proven supervisory, team leader and/or department leadership experience in a supply chain, warehousing, or production manufacturing plant environment.
- Experience and accountability for developing, implementing, and driving results for department performance metrics.
- Proven capability to manage, coach, direct and develop salaried exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, throughout all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with ability to interact across functions (engineering, supply chain, etc.) and at all levels of the organization.
- Trained and experienced in fundamentals of safety and health.
- Experience managing the talent development strategy for the department, including programs to attract, develop and retain key talent.
- Proven data analysis capability through use of common business tools (e.g. SAP, Excel, Power BI)
