Senior Business Systems Engineer- Data Center Systems II at CoreWeave. Develop and operate systems that enable data center asset lifecycle management, project and portfolio management, MRO, infrastructure automation, and commissioning workflows across multiple sites. Work with Data Center Operations, Infrastructure, and Facilities teams. Collaborate with data engineering teams, and design and harden pipelines from operational systems into the data warehouse.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure automation, or IT platforms supporting data center environments
- Hands-on experience integrating and operating DCIM, CMMS, BMS, or SCADA-adjacent platforms in production
- Strong software engineering capability with experience building APIs, scripts, or applications (Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, etc.)
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or equivalent)
- Experience with Jira automation, APIs, and workflow orchestration
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and telemetry systems
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as MQTT, Redfish, BACnet, or Modbus
- Experience using NetBox or similar systems as a source of truth for network and asset inventory
- Strong cross-functional collaboration across Infrastructure, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT
- Understanding of asset lifecycle and handoff workflows from construction through operations
- Exposure to audit, compliance, and infrastructure traceability requirements
- Experience supporting global or multi-site data center environments
