Operations Control Center Shift Supervisor

Clearway Energy Group is seeking an Operations Control Center Shift Supervisor to join their Real-Time Operations Team in Scottsdale, AZ. This role involves providing day-to-day oversight of renewable energy plants, managing operations issues, and ensuring continuous monitoring of the fleet. The position requires 12.5-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in power plant operations
• 4-year degree or relevant experience
• Competent technical knowledge of plant and system processes
• Experience in operating electrical or SCADA systems
• Knowledge of NERC, ERCOT, WECC, CAISO, PJM, and SPP regulations
• 24-hour on-call availability
• Functional system interactions and ability to pay attention to critical elements
• Ability to make financial decisions based on real-time data
• Coordination of multiple activities and safety, quality, and schedule adherence
• Ability to work in difficult customer situations
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience with direct reports
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
