MES Operations Analyst

BWXT Canada Ltd. is seeking a MES Operations Analyst to support the digital transformation of Operations by helping transition legacy paper-based workflows into standardized MES-enabled processes within Solumina. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field and 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing operations, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Management, or related discipline (Software Engineering considered with relevant manufacturing/operations exposure).
• 0–3 years of experience in manufacturing operations, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or quality (co-op/internship experience accepted).
• Exposure to MES, ERP, QMS, or other digital manufacturing systems is an asset.
• Strong skills in process mapping and workflow documentation.
• Industrial engineering knowledge including simulation, optimization, bottleneck analysis, takt time analysis, or time studies.
• Strong data analysis skills using Excel and Power BI.
• Ability to communicate effectively with operators, engineers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into structured system (MES) inputs.
• Programming experience is an asset but not required.
