Requirements

• Assist in the design and thermal/fluid analysis of cryocooler and test asset components
• Effectively communicate analytical results and effects of design changes on component and system performance
• Assist in developing test plans and procedures for component, subsystem, and coordinated cryocooler testing in collaboration with ZBO and other Blue Origin test facilities
• Complete test procedures involving pressurized cryogenic and non-cryogenic fluid systems
• Review and interpret test data to assess performance and health both at the system and component level
• Contribute to or author test reports
• Conduct component- and system-level thermodynamic analyses and trade studies for design optimization
• Collaborate with structural and manufacturing engineers to optimize component design and interfaces
• Demonstrate that system and component designs meet relevant requirements
• Participate in gated design and test readiness reviews
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with Blue Origin policies and procedures
