We are seeking a Supervising Attorney, Immigration & Project End to provide leadership, supervision, and subject-matter mentorship to junior legal staff and to provide comprehensive legal representation to low-income immigrants. This position has a special focus on Ayuda’s Project END program, which supports victims of immigration legal services fraud.
Requirements
- J.D. or LL.M. from accredited law school
- Member in good standing with the DC, Maryland, or Virginia bar, or eligible to waive into one of these jurisdictions
- Fluency in Spanish or another language relevant to Ayuda’s client community
- At least three years’ experience practicing immigration law and/or consumer law
- Strong legal, organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse, multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated commitment to social, racial and economic justice
