Secure institutional revenue for Ayuda's programs and support Ayuda in effectively managing awarded grants. The Grant Coordinator will be responsible for writing and document organization, research, data entry/data management, and other tasks. The position will be based in the DC office, but will require occasional visits to the Maryland and Virginia offices.
Requirements
- Must be legally able to work in the United States and maintain proper work authorization throughout employment.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position presented in a general office environment.
- Experience in grant writing or nonprofit development (1+ year of professional work experience preferred)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with data entry.
- Experience in document and file management.
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Technology Skills including: ability to use databases, funder portals
