Instructional Aide

Atlantis Academy is seeking an Instructional Aide to join their Special Education team. The role involves providing personalized support, supervision, and guidance to students in Grades K-12, implementing individualized instruction and behavioral interventions, and collaborating closely with classroom educators.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with passage of basic skills test
• Associate degree or higher in education or a closely related field of study preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company-approved crisis management (PCM) training
• Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a paraprofessional, paraeducator, education assistant, or similar credential preferred
• Prior experience working with children, preferably in a special education or behavioral health program setting
• Highly skilled in working with individuals with severe learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, and/or emotional disturbance
