We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Electrician in HMP Birmingham. The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week, with a base salary of £30,866- £36,135 dependant on experience.
Requirements
- City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 Level 2 Electrical Installation works or equivalent
- BS7671 18th Edition
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
- Good working knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance operations
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
- Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines
- Able to work at heights, to work independently and use initiative
- Understanding of fire alarm and CCTV systems (Desirable)
- Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at work Regulations
- Basic IT skills
