
Job description
The Senior Crime Analyst position is a non-sworn classification in the Alameda County Sheriff's Office, reporting to a Lieutenant or Captain. The incumbent performs complex research and analysis of criminal justice information, coordinates and evaluates departmental programs, trains sworn personnel, and supervises a small team of crime analyst staff. The position requires a bachelor's degree and 3-4 years of experience in crime data collection, statistical research, and analysis, with at least 1 year in a lead or senior capacity.
