The Assistant Manager - Projects role is responsible for strategically planning, managing, and overseeing the execution of pipeline construction projects at Adani Total Gas Limited. The role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans for 33 pipeline projects
- Oversee the complete project lifecycle from initial planning stages to operational handover
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout all phases of the project lifecycle
- Coordinate and manage all phases of pipeline construction projects
- Oversee procurement processes for all materials, equipment, and services
- Monitor construction activities closely to ensure they adhere to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders regularly to ensure smooth and efficient project execution
- Implement project management best practices and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders regarding project status, issues, and updates
- Prepare and present regular project reports and updates to senior management and other stakeholders
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring strict cost control and financial performance
- Manage contract negotiations with vendors and contractors
- Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of project managers, engineers, and construction professionals
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team
